Dry Slide Productions was born in 2003. Dry Slide is Roger Humphrey, Tiffany Humphrey, and Ken Humphrey. The name Dry Slide comes from a racing team Roger and his brother Ken has in the 70’s called Dry Slide Racing. Roger always liked to ride the dry, slick tracks where you could really throw the bike sideways and slide through the corners, so after much serious garage deliberation, Dry Slide Racing was it. Throughout the 70’s and 80’s Roger and his team of one (Ken as pit crew) traveled, raced and made it all the way to Pro-AM status. Fast forward a few years to the mid 90’s, after doing the “real job” thing and having a lovely daughter Tiffany, Roger realized that Racing has never left his blood. He began racing again. After a few years Roger decided that racing was not enough. He wanted to become more involved and further the sport for future generations. Roger got his brother Ken and his daughter Tiffany and proposed promoting races together as a family. The first Dry Slide Productions race was in 2003 in Greeley CO at the Island Grove Arena, they had one more race there in 2004 and one in Estes Park, CO at the Ride the Divide Rally in 2005. In 2006 they had their first six race series at the Boulder County Fairgrounds in their hometown Longmont, CO. They continued to have seasons at the Boulder County Fairgrounds in 2007 and 2008. In 2007 they were a part of the Boulder County Fair for the first time. In 2009 they had another race in the Boulder County Fair. Now in 2010 Dry Slide is beginning to build their own race track. Each year throughout Dry Slides history they have grown and improved. Dry Slide Productions is more than passionate about Dirt Track Racing. Dry Slide will be coming with big things in the future. Go Fast, Turn Left.
